Merry Christmas to my most lovely friends!!

Sometimes friendship is ...
a walk in a meadow,
watching clouds go by,
drawing faces on the back of your friend's head.

Friendship is you.
Thank you for being always by my side.
Merry Christmas!
Thanks for being a friend!

Paradox Of Our Times

received from Brenda

Today we have bigger houses and smaller families

More conveniences , but less time

We Have More degrees, but less common sense

More knowledge , but less judgment

We have more experts, but more problems

More medicine, but less wellness

We spend too recklessly

Laugh too little

Drive too fast

Get to angry too quickly

Stay up too late

Read too little

Watch TV too much

And pray too seldom

We multiplied our possessions, but reduce our values

We talk too much, love too little and lie too often

We’ve learned how to make living, but not a life

We’ve added years to life, not life to years

We have taller buildings, but shorter tempers

Wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints

We spend more, but have less

We buy more, enjoy it less

We’ve been all the way to the moon and back

But have trouble crossing the street to meet our neighbors.

We’ve conquered outer space,

But not inner space

We’ve split the atom

But not our prejudice

We write more, learn less, ---------------------- plan more, but accomplish less

we’ve learn to rush, but not to wait,

we have higher incomes , but lower morals

We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies

But have less communications

We are long on quantity,

But less in quality

These are the time of fast foods and slow digestion

Tall men , and short character

More leisure and less fun ,,,,,more kinds of foods ,,,,, but less nutrition

Two incomes ,,,,,but more divorce

Fancier houses ,,,, but broken homes

That’s why I propose , that as of today , you do not keep anything for special occasion , because every day you live is a special occasion.

Search for knowledge , read more , sit on your front porch and admire the view without paying attention to your needs.

Spend more time with your family and friends , eat your favorite foods, and visit the places you love .

Life is a chain of moment of enjoyment, not only about survival.

Use your crystal goblets, do not save your best perfume, and use it every time you feel you want it.

Remove from vocabulary phrases like “ one of these days ” and “ someday ”

Let’s write that letter we thought of writing “ one of these days ”

Let’s tell our families and friends how much we love them.

Do not delay anything that adds laughter and joy to your life .

Every day , every hour ,  and every minute is special.

And you don’t know if it will be your last .

If you’re too busy to take the time to send this message to someone you love , and you tell yourself you will send it

“ one of these days ”

So believe me

“ one of these days ”

You may not be here to send it

What Language Should You Learn?

***You Should Learn Swedish***

Fantastisk! You're laid back about learning a language - and about life in general.
Peaceful, beautiful Sweden is ideal for you... And you won't even have to speak perfect Swedish to get around!

Life is full of cancers?

When we read Jack London's "What Life Means to Me" in class this morning, Janet says "Life is full of chances." But I mistook it for "Life is full of cancers."
For the whole week, I try to convince myself that I am not that preoccupied with that sad news. But ... how hard it is, if not completely impossible. For the past week, however little and supposedly unmeaningful things can reawaken my memory and remind me of it. And what else can I do except feeling sad? I don't know, and I don't think I can ever find out the answer, or bother to find out. And this very incapability in the face of miseries makes me even sadder. I know there, flowing under that misery, must be something that is beyond oration and tears.
I meditate and quote and argue with myself, and finaly seems to have convinced myself that the answer to "WHY HIM?" can only be "Why NOT him?" BUT!! In god's name, could, could anyone give me a more convincing response. PLEASE! Tell me why? Why life is so vulnerable?!
The first drop of tear finally comes down ... I promised I wouldn't cry ... What's the matter with me!!!

And that RHYME flies only, and thus can be heard only in paradise. Yes, PARADISE! Where else could he have voyaged to?

Analysis of Your Life Score Results

Your Life Analysis:

Life: Your life rating is a score of the sum total of your life, and accounts for how satisfied, successful, balanced, capable, valuable, and happy you are. The quiz attempts to put a number on the summation of all of these things, based on your answers. Your life score leaves room for improvement. You can make changes to improve your trouble areas, and this will bring you greater satisfaction. Focus on your weakest points and set about to change them. Do not delay your happiness and success. (Read more on improving your life)

Mind: Your mind rating is a score of your mind's clarity, ability, and health. Higher scores indicate an advancement in knowledge, clear and capable thinking, high mental health, and pure thought free of interference. Your mind score is not bad, but could be improved upon. Your mental health is not weak, but you are not achieving full mental clarity and function. Learn how to unclutter your mind. Keep learning, keep improving, continue moving forward.
Read advice from other quiz-takers on improving the mind.

Body: Your body rating measures your body's health, fitness, and general wellness. A healthy body contributes to a happy life, however many of us are lacking in this area. Your body score is fairly average, which means there is room for improvement. Keep a focus on your physical health. Protect your body as it is your most valuable physical asset. Nutrition, stress reduction, and exercise are key.
Read advice from other quiz-takers on improving the body.

Spirit: Your spirit rating seeks to capture in a number that elusive quality which is found in your faith, your attitude, and your philosophy on life. A higher score indicates a greater sense of inner peace and balance. Your spirit score leaves room for improvement. Consider making a concerted effort to redefine your attitudes and focus your beliefs. Boosting your spirit will lead to greater life satisfaction.
Read advice from other quiz-takers on improving the spirit.

Friends/Family: Your friends and family rating measures your relationships with those around you, and is based on how large, healthy, and dependable your social network is. Your friends and family score is not bad but can be improved. Maintain your current social net, while you try to expand it. Try new things and form new friendships. You will be rewarded greatly.

Love: Your love rating is a measure of your current romantic situation. Sharing your heart with another person is one of life's most glorious, terrifying, rewarding experiences. Your love score is very low, indicating trouble. There is love out there for you. Seek the advice of wise people on how to go about finding it. Do not lose hope.
Read advice from other quiz-takers on finding and maintaining love.

Finance: Your finance rating is a score that rates your current financial health and stability. Your financial score indicates some trouble. Raise your score over time by making changes which will lead to greater prosperity in the future. Be sure to live within your means today.

Blaise PASCAL - Pensées

Si Dieu me donnait encore une autre
